A member of MSD’s employment law practice group, Andrew Kimble represents employees in individual and class action lawsuits, typically involving unpaid wages. Andrew also advises employees subject to discrimination, retaliation, or harassment, facing a separation from work, or any number of other scenarios that arise in the workplace.
Andrew prides himself on providing his employee clients with the same quality of representation that their employers receive. He relishes the challenge of advocating for employees against what might seem to be long odds, and takes an aggressive approach on his clients’ behalf.
Andrew represents a wide range of workers—servers, bartenders, and bussers in restaurants, drivers, exotic dancers, workers misclassified as “independent contractors,” and others. Andrew has successfully litigated against companies of all kinds, from single-location restaurants, to government agencies, to international corporations. In the process he has helped thousands of workers recover millions of dollars in wages. Before he returned home to Ohio, Andrew represented the rights and interests of employees in New York City.
Although Andrew primarily represents employees, he has also represented employers and has served as neutral mediator for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Andrew leans on these experiences when advising his clients.

MOTIVATING FACTOR

“Nothing is more satisfying to me than when my clients realize the power they have and decide to stand up for their rights.”

CREATING VICTORY

“My clients trust me and I trust my clients. We are not engaged in some arms-length transaction—we are a team, working together to put on the best case possible. It is my clients who lived through whatever circumstances have given rise to the lawsuit, not me. So I seek their input, trust their insights, and try my best to understand and achieve their goals at every step along the way.”

Nothing is more satisfying to me than when my clients realize the power they have.”
