Markovits, Stock & DeMarco Files Data Breach Class Action Against ParkMobile

On May 25, 2021, Markovits, Stock & DeMarco and its co-counsel filed a data breach class action against ParkMobile, LLC. ParkMobile owns and operates a parking app permitting users to pay for paying from their mobile device. On March 26, 2021, ParkMobile announced it had been subject to a cybersecurity incident whereby its customers’ names, license plate numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle nicknames, passwords and home addresses.

Plaintiff Tyler Baker is the named plaintiff in the class action complaint filed against ParkMobile in the Northern District of Georgia. A copy of the complaint may be accessed here.
