On March 26, 2021, Markovits, Stock & DeMarco, LLC and DannLaw, on behalf of Plaintiff Tania Garcia, filed a class action lawsuit in the Eastern District of Michigan against Flagstar Bank related to a data breach in which Flagstar allegedly failed to properly safeguard its customers’ sensitive personal information. The data breach allegedly included customers’ Social Security Numbers, Dates of Birth, Full Names, Account Numbers, Residential Addresses, and Phone Numbers.
