Our investigation into Alameda Health System’s data breach is still on-going, but according to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, an unauthorized actor was able to gain access to Alameda’s Health System via email and was able to compromise patient and/or employee private information.

Alameda Health Systems has not yet identified victims of its data breach. However, Alameda Health Systems did identify that the data of 90,000 individuals was compromised in the breach.
WHAT INFORMATION WAS EXPOSED IN THE DATA BREACH?
We have not yet identified the type of information compromised in the breach, but our experience suggests the following information may have been compromised:
- Full Name;
- Date of Birth;
- Address;
- Social Security number;
- Driver’s license number;
- Health insurance information;
- Medical treatment / diagnosis information;
