WHAT HAPPENED?
Entrust Corp., a company specializing in cybersecurity, detected a cyberattack on its internal computer systems on June 18, 2022.[1] The ongoing investigation determined that an unauthorized actor had access to certain Entrust Corp. internal systems and possibly obtained the personal information stored on Entrust Corp.’s systems.[2] Entrust Corp. admitted it has implemented additional safeguards to enhance its security.[3] Entrust Corp. has no yet disclosed what information was included in the data breach, but did notify some affected customers on July 6, 2022.[4]
