Mount Vernon Mills, Inc. did not report the data breach to the authorities and the affected parties until September 21, 2022.[3] In total, the data of 22,859 individuals was compromised in the breach.[4] Mount Vernon Mills, Inc. has not explained why it waited so long to disclose the breach.
