What Happened?
On March 28, 2023, Monument, Inc. reported that it suffered a data breach affecting an unknown number of individuals who may have used Monument’s website platforms prior to February 23, 2023.[1] Monument revealed that a pixel used for tracking online information on their website had gathered and sent protected health information to third-party providers of the pixel technology, which includes Meta (Facebook) and Google.
