WHAT HAPPENED?
On December 1, 2022, West Technology discovered that an unauthorized third party gained remote access to its corporate network, and its initial investigation revealed that the unauthorized party took some files from its corporate network, including certain employee personal information. These individuals were notified on December 31, 2022.[2] Further investigation determined that files regarding others had been taken, and West Technology issued further breach notifications on April 18, 2023.[3]

West Technology has not disclosed the full range of personal information potentially involved in the breach, but it has stated that for certain individuals it may include:

- driver’s license number
