WHAT HAPPENED?
MedInform confirmed an unauthorized actor gained access to its internal network between December 5, 2022 and December 21, 2022. The notice letter MedInform issued on May 24, 2023 indicated that Social Security numbers were included in the information disclosed in the data breach.
WHAT INFORMATION WAS EXPOSED IN THE DATA BREACH?
MedInform reported that the following information was included in the data breach:
- name,
- Social Security number,
- Billing information, and,
- Financial account information.[1]
