What Happened?
On April 27, 2023, Activate Healthcare reported that it suffered a data breach impacting that compromised the sensitive personal information of its patients and customers. On April 29, 2023 Activate Healthcare learned that between April 22, 2023, and April 28, 2023, an unauthorized third party accessed its network and some of the sensitive information stored within.[1] The scope and cause of the data breach are still being investigated.

Activate Healthcare disclosed the data breach involves sensitive confidential information, including:
- Full Names;
- Social Security numbers;
- Date of birth;
- Provider name, date of service and/or diagnosis;
- Address; and
- Driver’s license numbers.[2]
