What Happened?
On or about June 28, 2023, Roosevelt University reported that it suffered a data breach.[1] Roosevelt University learned on May 25, 2023 that on or about May 1, 2023, an unauthorized party was able to access its private network and some of the sensitive personal information stored within. The scope and case of the data breach are still being investigated, but according to a Notice Letter distributed by Roosevelt University on June 28, 2023, it is believed that sensitive personal information belonging to students, employees, and other affiliated individuals was compromised in the attack.[2]

- Addresses;
- Social Security numbers; and
- Drivers’ license numbers or state identification numbers.[3]
