Bienville Orthopaedic became aware of a cyberattack impacting its computer systems and network on July 31, 2023.[1] The breach lasted more than a month, beginning on February 3, 2023, and ending on March 5, 2023. Bienville Orthopaedic has disclosed the breach involves the confidential and personal information of individuals on its systems, including but not limited to:

Bienville Orthopaedic did not report the data breach to the authorities and the affected parties until September 1, 2023.[3] In total, the data of 242,986 individuals was compromised in the breach.[4]
