WHAT HAPPENED?
On June 15, 2023, Oklahoma Baptist University detected a cyberattack on its computer systems and network. Oklahoma Baptist University has disclosed the breach involves the confidential and personal information on its systems, including but not limited to:

- Social Security numbers.[1]
Oklahoma Baptist University did not report the data breach to the authorities and many of the affected parties for months – not until September 6, 2023.[2]
