WHAT HAPPENED?
Brodart Co. detected a cyberattack on its computer systems and network on October 14, 2023. Brodart Co. has disclosed the breach involves the confidential and personal information on its systems, including but not limited to:
- names,
- addresses,
- dates of birth,
- Social Security numbers,
- driver’s license numbers,
- financial account information, and
- medical information.[1]
Brodart Co. did not report the data breach to the authorities and many of the affected parties until November 22, 2023.[2]
