Endocrine and Psychiatry Center Data Breach Class Action Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

Endocrine and Psychiatry Center detected a cyberattack on its computer systems and network on October 15, 2023. Through its investigation, Endocrine and Psychiatry Center learned the unauthorized access to the network occurred at some time prior to March 20, 2023. Endocrine and Psychiatry Center has disclosed the breach involves the confidential and personal information on its systems, including but not limited to:

  • names,
  • dates of birth,
  • Social Security numbers,
  • driver’s license numbers,
  • financial account information,
  • health insurance information, and
  • medical treatment and diagnosis information.[1]

 

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IMPACTED BY THE DATA BREACH?

Endocrine and Psychiatry Center did not report the data breach to the authorities and many of the affected parties until November 14, 2023.[2] In total, the data of 28,531 individuals was compromised in the breach.[3]
