Commonly used to resolve commercial disputes, employment matters and consumer disagreements, arbitration provides a private, efficient and often more amicable way to resolve disputes compared to litigation.
Arbitration is a voluntary process and generally less formal than court proceedings. Disputing parties may come to arbitration via various commercial contract clauses or mutual consent. Different types of contracts frequently mandate arbitration as the first step in resolving disputes.
