WHAT HAPPENED?
Nautic Partners, LLC detected a cyberattack on its computer systems and network that occurred between February 23, 2023, through April 5, 2023.[1] Nautic Partners, LLC did not conclude its investigation until December 29, 2023.[2] Nautic Partners, LLC has now disclosed the breach involves the confidential and personal information on its systems, including but not limited to:
· full names, and
· Social Security numbers.[3]
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IMPACTED BY THE DATA BREACH?
Nautic Partners, LLC did not report the data breach to the authorities and many of the affected parties for months following the breach – not until January 12, 2024.[4] In total, the data of at least 7,870 individuals was compromised in the breach.[5]
