Dobson Technologies, Inc. detected a cyberattack on its computer systems and network that occurred on February 27, 2023.[1]Dobson Technologies, Inc. has now disclosed the breach involves the confidential and personal information on its systems, including but not limited to:
- full names,
- Social Security numbers,
- drivers’ license numbers, and
- state identification numbers.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IMPACTED BY THE DATA BREACH?
Dobson Technologies, Inc. did not report the data breach to the authorities and many of the affected parties for nearly a year following the breach – not until February 15, 2024. In total, the data of at least 6,158 individuals was compromised in the breach.
