What Happened?

On January 31, 2024, Prestige Care began notifying victims that it had suffered a Data Breach. Prestige Care reported that on or around September 7, 2023, an unauthorized party accessed and copied certain protected health information from its network.1 In total, the data of 38,087 victims was compromised in the Professional Compounding Centers of America, Inc. data breach.2

Prestige Care has started to notify the individuals whose data was compromised in the data breach. 

What Data was Compromised in the Prestige Care Data Breach?

Prestige Care has not disclosed the exact type of sensitive confidential information compromised in the data breach, however similar data breaches involving medical providers have involved sensitive information such as:

  • Full Name
  • Social Security Number
  • Health Information
